Jolene is a multi-award winning TEDx speaker, author, and instructional designer. She is also autistic. After initially struggling with her adult diagnosis, Jolene is now a global educator on diversity and inclusion with the International Indigenous Speakers Bureau. Her first two books about autism are out this year with Jessica Kingsley Publishers (UK). As a working, married, autistic with two children and a degree, Jolene is excited to raise understanding and optimism around neurodivergence.

Ultra-enthusiastic TEDx speaker of both Māori and Pākehā descent, Jolene Stockman is a global educator on diversity and inclusion. She is a prolific author, winner of media, education, and business awards, and is multiply-neurodivergent.
After struggling with her adult diagnosis, Jolene shared her story publicly with a TEDx talk. She went on to feature in international media, delivering corporate training and working with families and educators to raise understanding and optimism around autism. Her presentations combine storytelling, lived experience, research, and practical strategies to support neurodivergent excellence and universal design. Jolene shares her strengths and challenges as tangata whaitakiwātanga; autistic.
