What. A(nother!) Year.

Over the past twelve months, I’ve been part of some extraordinary events —in Aotearoa, on paper, in-person, and all the way to the United States.

Every stage, every classroom, every conversation has reminded me just how much incredible work is happening in these spaces. Educators, leaders, organisations, and whole communities are shifting the narrative, building safer systems, and championing autistic brilliance in ways that feel genuinely world‑changing. I’m so grateful to be part of it.

Even though time is a construct, 2025 went fast, right? And I’m grateful.
For the educators who show up every day with open hearts and curiosity.
For the parents who listen to (and trust) their kids.
For the organisations willing to rethink old systems.
For the Autistics who survive and choose to stay. We resist with our existence.

This work is bigger than any one of us. It’s all of us, lighting up our piece of the world, and every now and then we find each other, and feel less alone. We’ve got this, (we really do!), and we’ve got each other 💖
